BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: Camp St. Charles offers a wide range of activities to campers. All of our specialized activities, including horseback riding, swimming lessons, ropes course, canoeing, tubing, stand up paddle boards, riflery and archery are included with your camp tuition. Visit the camp during our spring open house events or try out camp during the spring Parent-Child weekend. More details on our website.

CAMP INSTRUCTIONAL ACTIVITIES OFFERED:
Fine Arts/Crafts, Basketball, Soccer, Horses/Equestrian, Swimming, Waterfront/Aquatics, Team Sports, Adventure, and more.
CAMP LOCATION: We are located close to Washington DC in Southern Maryland. A beautiful waterfront property.
CAMP FACILITIES: Rustic cabins, swimming pool, water front grounds, sports fields, camp fire area, archery range, bb range, rifle range, basketball court, mess hall, chapel, dock and boats
CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Our program is an unplugged and back to basics program with a rich, 60+ year history. We help campers to build lasting friendships and memories. Our goals are for campers to make friends, work together and treat each other and God's creation with love and respect.
CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: Leadership Mentor program. 14-15 year old previous campers may continue at Camp St. Charles if accepted into the mentor program. See our website for application and details.
CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS OR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: Our campership program helps families to send their children to summer camp. See details online.
FAMILY CAMP SESSION(S): We host a parent-child weekend each May for families who wish to try out summer camp with their child before attending our summer sessions. May 5-7, 2017
YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: Camp St. Charles hosts a variety of retreat groups through out the year. Closed December and January, we host retreats in the spring and fall. Contact us for more information.
OTHER CAMP INFO: Visit our open house on March 12, April 9 or May 7 for lunch, tours and a ride on the giant swing. No fee for open house. Parent child weekend on May 5-7, 2017 is a great way to try out our summer program as a family. P-C weekend costs $50/person.

SUMMER CAMP JOBS:
Our summer staff for 2017 will be needed from June 10- August 13, 2017. All of the details and requirements are on our website. We hope to fill all positions by April 1, please apply early. Junior Counselor positions are likely to be filled before April 1.
